Mentorship & Professional Skills

Our mission to restore music education is built on the expertise of those who have already found their rhythm. We are looking for specialized volunteers to mentor the next generation of Colorado musicians and production professionals through these key roles:

Musical Mentorship (Teaching & Performance)

• • Student Workshops: Share your instrumental or vocal expertise to help students refine their technique and prepare for live performances.
  • Performance Coaching: Guide young artists on stage presence, ensemble dynamics, and how to handle live audience interaction.
  • Scholarship Support: Help rising stars navigate the path to music scholarships and higher education opportunities.
  • Technical Training (Audio, Lighting, & Event Ops)
    • Production Internship Guidance: Act as a lead mentor for high school band members serving as interns during the Laser Circus residencies.
    • Hands-on Skills: Train students in the operation of our $300,000+ mobile production suite, including DMX-controlled lighting, professional mixers, and the 500 sq. ft. LED floor.
    • Logistics Mastery: Teach the fundamentals of event flow, equipment maintenance, and safety protocols for high-tech entertainment environments.
• Creative Support (Photography, Marketing, & Media)
  • Visual Storytelling: Provide professional photography or videography to document the impact of our fundraising events and student achievements.
  • Digital Outreach: Assist with social media management, email marketing, and web content to help tell the story of how we are restoring music education.
  • Brand Advocacy: Help us build local partnerships and media relationships that expand the reach of the Realm of Caring mission.
